Experienced Chiropractic Care With a Personal Approach

Biography
From Putnam Valley to Jacksonville
Dr. Sebastian T. Castelli grew up in Putnam Valley, New York. He studied psychology on a pre-med track at the State University of New York at Albany, then earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Life University in Marietta, Georgia.
He met his wife in Atlanta, and the two of them eventually settled in Jacksonville, where they are raising their three children. Jacksonville is home, and most of the people he treats are neighbors.
Outside the office he is at the beach with his boys, fishing, training in mixed martial arts, playing guitar, and occasionally talking himself into an open mic night. Nutrition and active living are long-standing personal interests — he and his family eat gluten-free and choose non-GMO and organic foods where they can. That is a personal choice he shares when patients ask, not a recommendation he makes for everyone.
What he enjoys most about the work is the explaining: showing someone what the examination found, what it may mean, and what the realistic options are, so the decision about what to do next is genuinely theirs.
Care philosophy
How he thinks about your care
- Two people can describe the same discomfort and need entirely different care. The examination — not the label someone arrives with — shapes the recommendation.
- Patients should leave understanding their own findings well enough to explain them to someone else.
- Conservative, non-surgical options are worth exploring first when the evaluation supports them, and referral is the right answer when it does not.
- No outcome is guaranteed. Expectations are set honestly at the start rather than adjusted later.

About Dr. Castelli
Dr. Castelli performs the chiropractic evaluations and adjustments at the practice. Some visits may also include care delivered by other licensed providers, and the office can tell you what your specific visit will involve when you schedule.
He earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life University in Marietta, Georgia, after completing a BA in Psychology on a pre-med track at the State University of New York at Albany.
A conversation about your history and goals, a hands-on examination, imaging only if the findings suggest it would change the plan, and a plain-language explanation of what was found and what the options are.
Nutrition and active living are long-standing personal interests, and the practice offers functional-medicine and nutrition services separately. Personal dietary choices he makes for his own family are not presented as advice for patients.
Then that is what you will be told. When a concern falls outside chiropractic care, the appropriate next step is a referral or coordination with your other healthcare providers.
